Do One Teach One @ BUSPM

BUSPM’s Podopediatric club takes “do one teach one” to another level.

On this day, 3rd-year students take the opportunity to teach 1st-year and 2nd-year students how to do basic foot examinations, while at the same time serve their community. Podopediatrics club annually participates in the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital’s Family Resource Fair. At this event children with special needs and their families are given resources from organizations in the community.

BUSPM Podopediatric club makes balloon animals, stickers and candies for children while teaching them and their families about proper foot care, foot hygiene, and shoe gear. Children are given basic foot evaluation checking for muscle strength, dermatology, neurology and vascular.
